polar bears there fascinating creatures the male polar bears may grow 10 feet tall and weigh over 1400 pounds. Females reach seven feet and weigh 650 pounds. In the wild polar bears live up to age 25,and there still fascinating no matter how many programs we watch.
Seals, they make such memorable noises.
Penguins for sure. There is an island off the coast of WA called Penguin Island. The island is known for its population of Little penguins (also known as fairy penguins). They roam free on the island and its just the most beautiful sight to see them roaming free, not locked up behind glass etc. They are gorgeous little fellas.

POLAR BEARS
They are the best mothers. And with claws like that it is amazing that they can be so gentle with their cubs.
The elephant seal is currently on the ‘threatened’ list but have been protected from being hunted for their blubber for many years and the population has steadily grown. They are now however at risk again due to diminishing habitat and food supply. I like these seals because they are not as ‘cute’ as other animals in the region and therefore don’t get the same amount of publicity.

Polar Bears – they are so affectionate with their young
Polar bears eat seals and penguins so they’re out! I couldn’t take a leopard seal home to meet mum and say, ‘I found it, can I keep it?’, so I’m left with the very cute and inquisitive penguin.
The Killer Whale because they are so sleek and stylish looking.
The best polar animal to be is a little ‘otter!
I adore orcas (or as most people call them “Killer Whales”) they remind me of wolves because they stay close to their family like a pack would, and i was amazed to see them coming up onto the shore to catch their prey in one of David Attenboroughs documentries.
Penguins are amazing in everyway!. We had a penguin for about a week after a friend found it on a beach tangled up in fishing line. My parents had someone release it again at kangaroo island in SA.

Penguin. Run little, fat fellow… go get the Batman!
Snowy Owl.. they change colour with the seasons… brown in summer to white in winter. The Lady Gaga of the Arctic perhaps!
The Arctic fox isn’t an introduced species like here, there it lives in its element. So much so that in winter it turns white!
PENGUINS – Because they can TAP DANCE!
Sure those three options are ok, but I choose chipmunks! By far the cutest and they hibernate all winter – so pretty clever too!
Emperor Penguins because they are so cute when they waddle around, slide and play. Love it that DAD has to do a lot of WORK walking around to keep the egg warm- great to see the MEN being RESPONSIBLE for ensuring healthy offspring!
